Medical Monitors (MMs) are part of the Medical Affairs Team. WCT MMs are licensed MDs, experienced in clinical trials, GCP-trained and fluent in English. WCT MMs expertise is reflected in:

• Providing clinical development plans and protocol design input
• Training staff and investigators
• Serving as medical directors to Sponsors without medical staff
• Providing medical review of WCT deliverables – such as final narratives or clinical study reports.

Additionally, the MMs provide support to sites by addressing Investigator questions regarding appropriate interpretation/application of the study protocol and advising regarding appropriate medical management of subject emergencies.  The assigned study physician is the medical leader of the WCT project team, acting as intra-CRO resource and source of information regarding the indication under study and study drug.
